WildHearts Founder Mick Jackson Wins Top Scot and Entrepreneur of the Year 2007

"I want to dedicate this award to the thousands of WildHearts customers who believe that business should be a force for good, and care enough to do something about it.   It is not just words in their brochure."  Mick Jackson, Top Scot Acceptance Speech.

In 2007 WildHearts founder Mick Jackson won the Top Scot and Entrepreneur of the Year categories at the prestigious Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland awards.  The winners are decided by public vote and are widely regarded as the most prestigious national awards in Scotland.  Other Top Scot winners have included celebrities such as JK Rowling and Chris Hoy.  The fact that the Scottish public voted for an entrepreneur who has dedicated himself to fighting poverty is a clear statement that WildHearts is an idea whose time has come.  In his televised acceptance speech Mick gave the credit to those who made WildHearts possible; the people who buy our office supplies and take part in our events.  We would love you to become one of them.

£1500 spent on office supplies = 1 WildHearts microloan = 21 lives transformed every year
